After suffering a puncture wound in November 2024 during her terrifying fall in Killington, Shiffrin has made an incredible comeback. After a few non-podium results, she made her way back to the slopes in late January 2025 and won her 100th World Cup victory in Sestriere, Italy.
The last of the American’s 101 victories in the season came at Sun Valley, Idaho. She defeated Lena Durr to win the gold medal in 1:45.92. She got back in touch with her fiancé, Kilde, a few days after the marathon, and he posted a picture of it on Instagram. narrative.

Kilde is currently recovering from an accident that happened while he was racing downhill in Wengen, Switzerland, in January 2024. In a recent interview with BR24, Mikaela Shiffrin gave a touching message for her fiancé, Alexander Kilde, who underwent shoulder surgery. The skier claimed that since he was injured and unable to use his arm, she hadn’t given him an embrace in a year.

Aleksander Kilde and Mikaela Shiffrin announced their engagement in April of last year after dating since 2021. In a poignant social media statement, the Norwegian skier congratulated Shiffrin on her 100th World Cup victory.
