TV star Kate Garraway has sparked worry after she had to be replaced on Good Morning Britain and could only do 30 minutes of her Smooth Radio show. She started her radio show as usual, playing tunes by Ed Sheeran and Paul Young.
But not long after starting, her colleague Tina Hobley had to take over because Kate lost her voice. Before she left, people listening were worried about how she sounded and gave her tips on X, which used to be called Twitter.
One person said: “Take peppermint and chamomile, it helps. Also, take lots of water preferably lemon water. Sorry. You’ll be okay.” When Tina came on, they said: “Heyyy @TinaHobley for a moment I thought the APP had a problem… Nice to have you sit in for KG. She needs voice rest.
On Thursday, viewers of GMB saw that Kate wasn’t there and Ranvir Singh was hosting with Richard Madeley. A fan wrote on Twitter: “Missing @kategarraway on @gmb Hope ur feeling better soon xx,” and some even stopped watching because she wasn’t on, reports Bristol Live.
Tina also covered for Kate again on her radio show. On Smooth Radio’s Instagram Story, there was a snap of Tina in the studio with the message: “Keeping the records spinning for @kategarraway this morning @smoothradio.”
