“Happy to get an offer from Georgia,” Bey posted on social media. Bey is a well-known recruiter who recently received offers from Texas A&M, Duke, SMU, and Boston College.
Bey’s 2024 high school stats show that he is more of a rusher than a passer. Bey recorded 1,444 throwing yards and 1,912 running yards as a junior. In all, he scored 41 touchdowns. Although it’s uncertain where Georgia would play Bey, his athletic prowess is undeniable.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound quarterback can make precise deep passes and is incredibly fast. Other than Justin Fields, who did not start a game during his one season at UGA, Bey would add a dynamism to the quarterback position that Georgia has lacked during the Kirby Smart era.
