Williams spent the most of the 2024 season playing through an ankle injury. Williams actually stated in February that this past autumn, he played at about 60% efficacy.
Williams had a chance to get the Travon Walker treatment. Regretfully, it appears that he is not considered to be as talented by the majority of NFL teams.
“A lot of his draft projection has been based on upside and potential because Williams played through an ankle injury for a large portion of the season,” Miller added. “However, the common comp for Travon Walker of the Jaguars, who ran a 4.51 at 272 pounds, isn’t landing.”
Miller came to the conclusion that Williams might wind up in the middle of the 2025 NFL Draft’s first round.
Miller claims that his new rankings list will be out this weekend, and Williams will be listed as the 22nd greatest player on it.
One fortunate team may be able to acquire Williams at a reduced cost if he does drop into the second half of the first round.
