Although the selection and announcement of captains are still a long way off, Crimson Tide players have already voted for certain individuals to be the team’s leaders during spring practices.
Following Wednesday’s practice, edge rusher Qua Russaw revealed a few of the names.
“We voted as a team, and I was one of the guys we chose,” Russaw stated. “Talking to some of the younger guys and trying to get them going is something I’m working on.”
Russaw also cited quarterback Ty Simpson, defensive lineman LT Overton, left tackle Kadyn Proctor, and defensive tackle Tim Keenan III as early leaders.
