Netflix will soon release a new documentary that explores the life and career of pro football legend John Elway, one of the most renowned players of the last four decades. The Ken Rodgers-directed movie will provide a comprehensive examination of Elway’s remarkable journey on and off the pitch.
From his early years of being selected to play baseball by the New York Yankees to his memorable moments in college football history, Elway will discuss his varied life. It will also highlight his accomplishments, such as his two Super Bowl victories as a player and his third as a Denver Broncos executive.
Rodgers told Netflix, “John Elway’s career isn’t just iconic, it’s almost mythological.” “His physical prowess, mental fortitude, and unadulterated will are legendary.”
Kent Kubena for MakeMake, Terry Leonard, Angus Wall, and Jason Reed for Skydance Sports are producing the documentary. Skydance Sports’ David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, and Jon Weinbach; Omaha Productions’ Jamie Horowitz and Peyton Manning; and NFL Films’ Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Jessica Boddy, Ken Rodgers, and Brian Rolapp are among the executive producers.
