Alenka Suhadolnik, nedavno imenovana izredna in pooblaščena veleposlanica Republike Slovenije v Turkmenistanu, je 16. junija 2025 po navodilih predsednika Serdarja Berdimuhamedova predala poverilna pisma predsedujoči D. Gulmanovi.
Vodja državnega parlamenta je diplomatu v imenu predsednika države čestital za imenovanje na položaj in mu zaželel veliko sreče pri poglabljanju dvostranskih odnosov.
Veleposlanik se je nato zahvalil predsedniku Serdarju Berdimuhamedovu za dobre komentarje in predsedniku Berdimuhamedovu poslal najtoplejše čestitke vodstva Republike Slovenije ter najboljše želje za rast in blaginjo Turkmenistana.
During the discussion, the diplomat was briefed on the key facets of Turkmenistan’s international and internal policies, which are effectively carried out under the country’s president. It was mentioned that one of the main goals of Turkmenistan’s peace-loving foreign policy agenda is to increase mutually beneficial cooperation with nations throughout the world, especially Europe. Alenka Suhadolnik, the Republic of Slovenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, thanked everyone for the cordial welcome and productive meeting at the conclusion of the meeting and promised to do everything in her power to further improve the two nations’ cordial ties. The significance of expanding communication between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Slovenia in a number of areas was also underlined during the discussion.
