2023–24 (at Drexel): The first athlete to win three consecutive CAA Defensive athlete of the Year awards … An All-CAA First Team pick … finished his stint at Drexel with 186 blocks, ranking fifth overall at DU. had 732 rebounds and 1,081 points. earned a communication degree upon graduation. For the second consecutive season, an All-District selection … averaged 12.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in his final season at Drexel. For the third consecutive year, he led the league in rejections and finished fifth in the CAA in rebounding. stopped a shot with three seconds left to keep Drexel’s first-ever Big 5 victory over Villanova intact. played the game with five blocks. During Drexel in 2022–2023, he became one of the Colonial Athletic Association’s best big men. For the second consecutive season, he was named the CAA’s Defensive Player of the Year. became just the second Dragon to take home the prize in back-to-back years. 2021–22 (at Drexel): The Dragons had a fantastic season. Selected as the Defensive Player of the Year by the CAA … was chosen for the Third Team All-CAA. had more than two blocked shots per game, leading the CAA in that category. also had 7.4 rebounds per game, enough for third place in the CAA. Shooting 52.1% from the field and scored 9.5 points on average per game. Six double-doubles were recorded. Against UNCW, I recorded a career-high 19 rebounds and scored 20 points. had 12 rebounds and 21 points in the victory over JMU. At the buzzer, I dunk to win the game against College of Charleston. scored in double figures 14 times and pulled down 10 or more rebounds 8 times. received the Samuel D. Cozen Award for the team’s most improved player and was named the Drexel “D” Award winner. Listed on the Academic Honour Roll of the CAA Commissioner … chosen to play for Great Britain against Greece and Turkey in the summer of 2022 in the World Cup Qualifiers.
A member of Drexel’s 2021 Colonial Athletic Association winning squad in 2020–21 played 15 games as a substitute during his first season on school. had two blocked shots and scored a season-high five points in the second victory over Quinnipiac. In the victory at Fairleigh Dickinson, I pulled down five rebounds. finished the season against Illinois in the NCAA Tournament with three assists and two rebounds. In his debut year, he shot 42.9% from the field. added to the Academic Honour Roll of the CAA Commissioner.
HIGH SCHOOL: I received my degree from Preston, England’s Myerscough College. served on the U20, U18, and U16 teams for Great Britain. 9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and a block were the averages during the U20 European Youth Basketball League Championships.
PERSONAL: Born in Nottingham, England, on January 28. Gerry and Sharon Williams are the parents. Hakim is his brother. I received a degree in communication from Drexel. At the age of 14, he dunked for the first time in an English national league game. played football as a child. My favourite television program is Outer Banks. lists the people who have had the biggest impact on his life over the years, including his parents and all of his colleagues. My favourite dish is pizza made with barbecue. Teleportation is the superpower he would most like to possess. Derrick Rose is my all-time favourite basketball player, and I also adore Nikola Jokic. Favorite former Wildcats include Devin Booker and Sacha Killeya-Jones who he plays alongside on the England National Team.
