Frequently Asked Questions

What size is a pickleball court compared to a tennis court?

A pickleball court (20 × 44 ft) fits inside a standard tennis court (36 × 78 ft). Most rec centers re-line tennis courts for pickleball — one tennis court can become two pickleball courts side by side.

Can you play padel on a tennis court?

No. A padel court (66 × 33 ft) is enclosed by glass and wire walls — the walls are part of play. A standard tennis court is too wide and lacks the wall structure. Padel requires its own purpose-built court.

What is the smallest racquet sport court?

Table tennis has the smallest playing surface — the table itself is just 9 × 5 ft. The squash court (32 × 21 ft = 672 sq ft) is the smallest enclosed court, while pickleball (880 sq ft) is the smallest outdoor court.
